About this little experiment

Dhamma Parrot is a very, very small language model that has read a modest shelf of texts about Vipassana meditation in tradition of S.N.Goenka and understood approximately none of it. It is not a chatbot — it is a continuation machine. You hand it the start of a thought; it predicts what a parrot who’d been to too many courses might say next.

It does not think, meditate, or attain anything. It predicts the next word — that’s the whole trick. Sometimes the result is oddly wise. Usually it is nonsense. Occasionally it is both, which is the fun part.

Built by a meditator who got curious about what a tiny model dreams up when the only thing it ever reads is text about sensations. A toy, made to bring a small smile. Sit with a real teacher for the real thing.
